Open Warning Box

Hello C++ gurus,

I have to open a warning box which should be closed with a button. I am quite new to the C++ world, so a small sample would be very much appreciated.

Insufficient data for a meaningful answer. I will assume that your display environment is a non-GUI terminal.

You might take a look into the curses (or ncurses) library (

Thanks for your answer. I am in an AIX and SGI MOTIF / OpenGL environment. Your provided http address is unfortunately unavailable.
I have an application which does not give a proper error message to the user, so I have to program the message in the C++ api. The form and colour does not matter, but it has to be as small and easy as possible. The code samples I have found until today are all quite complex (some hundert lines of code).
