Hello Guys ,

I want to use the Open Voice session cmd to collect digit from calls .

Reading from the document guide , Voice Segment varialbles need to create , and eventualy content the audio files .
The syntax is the following

OPEN VOICE SESSION
PLAY PROMPT VOICE SEGMENT offer_menu
COLLECT 1 DIGITS INTO main_menu
IF main_menu=1 THEN
ROUTE CALL XXXX
ELSE
IF main_menu=2 THEN
PLAY PROMPT VOICE SEGMENT give_audio
ELSE
PLAY PROMPT VOICE SEGMENT give_audio2

END IF
END IF
END VOICE SESSION

1)Here i can see we have, the Voice Segment variable with the name offer_menu , created on Voice Segment on aacc, eventully callers hear the audio which give audio.
- So far i know this voice loaded on call Call Pitot via Application Builder.

2)We have another variable with the name main_menu to collect digit entering from the keypad, i can understand this also created on aacc as variable .
From my understand both variables need to be create somewhere which Call Pilot, and to be called on aacc script

So theoricaly , i understnad the concept , i think i am stuck on the Call Pilot composant, finding a mecanism to load voices give a name and to called on aacc / variable .
I would be greatly appreciate your help if you can help me to finalyze this .

In the AACC look at the Variable type Voice_Segment you will find one called offer_menu. Select it and you can see what is configured against it, it is in the format "access_file:prompt_id". The "access_file" is the name of your callpilot application (open it with app builder), once you open the callpilot application under menu "define\voice items" you will find all the announcements in the access file (id matches the prompt_id in the variable).

Hi @bignose21

Thanks for your reply !

Noted , i notice you mentionned call pilot application // So far, i can access this service via web browser.
I guess application builder is a kind of software to install , i also read that application builder can be launched diretly from the call pilot server .

Here is the web interface of call pilot .

Is this really what i need to complete my task / Or do i have to go to to config wizard to built a new one .

I do experience uploading audio voice on both Media Application Server and EPMS for IVR purpose , but this kind of configutation is a bit different since i need to route incomiong calls directly to the Queue before it can transfer to the IVR.

So i guess audio must be loaded on call pilot using Application Builder . I don't have an idea .

Other sugestion please [hourglass]

Callpilot appbuilder is a windows application you can download from the avaya espl you do need it if you are use access which the config you show is.

Hello bignose21 //

It's kind of complexe to find the call pilot app builder , i do have Call Piloit application install on a Server up and running . I can still look for the CD installation program is there anytyting to see with it , Call Pilot App builder ?

Look forward for your reply.

Thanks !

Hello

Please disregard my previous post //

You sent the file .

Thanks !

to get the software you need access to the Avaya ESPL, then under "Multimedia Application Tools" first link is Contact Center & Callpilot, then a search page opens choose:

Product - Callpilot
platform - Admin Client
Release - Latest is CP 5.1 SP 4 so you would choose 05.01.04

Click search and it will come up with downloads for App Builder, Manager Reporter, etc.

Fairly straight forward, but I have been downloading patches for it since the product began :)

Hi bignose21 //

Many Thanks for you great support . App Builder has been installed and i am able to connect to the CP server .
Now, i can see all the announcement configured named as variable on aacc script . [thumbsup2]

Hi All ,

Look forward to your reply.

Hello ,

I might need a help ,
I read Call Pilot amanual guide form the beginning to the end . From the aacc script so far i have no doubt.
Creating a new variable voice segment to be used on aacc script, obviously, this is the same name creating on CP Application builder that content the record while defining a voice items.

The issue is that the voice does not play on the queue, all i can hear is a dead air.

I think i almost done , but it been some days i am stuck on this part .

I would more than happy guys shall you can point me to the right direction .

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks !

In app builder under properties you can set a password for your access file app. Make sure you have defined a number for voice item maintenance in the Callpilot SDNs. Call the voice item maintenance, enter the number of your app (you see it when you open the app) press# and enter the password then #. It will request the voice item Id, and then you can listen and confirm it is working.

Then in aacc confirm your variable <access_file:voice_item_id> the name of the voice item in the callpilot app doesn't matter it is only the ID in in app builder and the variable and the name of the app matches the first part of the variable.

Many thanks !

That's fine .

I have some maintenance to do on aacc server to validate the voice item, i can directly call the app_file configure on CP from a deskphone and it works perfect , however it does not play on aacc script when calling the line .

Thanks !
