We have an internet calendaring application that gives the user the option to create the appointment
on their local machine via a .vcs file. The vcs file is an iCal/vCal formatted text file.
Outlook automatically recognizes this file as an appointment item. When the file is "opened," a new
appointment is added to the Outlook calendar.
The research I've done on the 'net and even Novell's site has lead me to believe that Groupwise 5.5
and higher support vcs files. I am working with someone who's running Groupwises 5.5, though, and we
can't figure out how to get it to do this. (I don't have GroupWise so I'm relying on this user to help me test possible solutions.)
P.S. I searched the archives in this Forum and even manually reviewed topics back to July '01 with no luck. In other words, I've really tried to do my homework first! <G>
