I have a 1-to-1 relationship between a STUDENTS table and an ALUMNI table. I use forms to add/update most data. When I use the STUDENTS form and click on the "Update Alumni" button inside the STUDENTS form, the Alumni form comes up, but it does not bring up the Alumni data for the particular student I have displayed in the Students form. Any help? Is it possible to click on the "update Alumni" button and have it bring up the correct record for the student I am currently working on? If so what is the exact visual basic code for doing this? I would like to add it to my Command# code for clicking on the "update Alumni" button.

Thanx,
Hal

It sounds like your problem isn't database-related, but simply how to transfer data from one form to another. Try re-posting in the Visual Basic(Microsoft)-General discussion forum.

There may even be a FAQ on the subject there.
