Does anyone think that when Avaya finishes with all the Nortel/Norstar/Meridian products they would allow it into the open source after market so some of us could manipulate and improve the existing software platforms.

I'm talking more along the lines of using the existig embedded KSUs and software
and moving forward with these platforms.

So far I ma not impressed with e-Metrotel as a company.

I have tried to get in touch with them on several occasions over the past two years to discuss their products and services and they have just been to difficult to get in touch with. They take a long time to respond or will not reply at all to email, voice mail. That was enough to make me loose confidence in them as a company committed to customer and vendor service.

I do not want to install their products and then have them and my customers left out in the cold.
