I am not slamming BEA Tuxedo. I currently use Tuxedo and love it. However, I am volunteering my skills to build a POS system for a family owned business. They cannot afford yearly license for all applications, so I am trying to minimize cost. I haven't had any luck trying to find open source alternatives to Tuxedo. I only need 3 to 5 connections for transaction processing from Windows XP to Redhat 9.0 linux. Does anyone have any suggestions.
