I am having a problem where whenever i try and open a pdf in a internet browswer window the computer freezes up as adobe is trying to open.

I have also tried installing adobe acrobat 6.0 professional and it will not even open. I just freezes the first time i open it.

It doesn't "freeze" per say. I just take the cpu up to 100% processing power and won't allow me to do anything unless i force quit it.

I have just reformatted my machine because of this issue.

I am on a dell d600 with windows xp sp2.

Any suggestoions

Contains great instructions for clearing the temp folder. Which Acrobat seems to be good at cluttering up . . .
Hope this helps.
