We have a Publisher file that needs to be worked with, however, no longer have Publisher on the PC. Which Microsoft Office Program is compatable and how would I bring the file up?

As far as I know, only Publisher can work on a Publisher file. There may be a reader like they have for PowerPoint, but it would not allow you to work on it.

If you have Microsoft Office installed on the PC's, someone should have the Office disks, and Publisher is on them.

We have the disk, however, over the years, the disk was separted from the registration number so when we wanted to install small business on a laptop, we no longer had the number to enter.
We have since been installing standard and professional versions of Microsoft Office.

Ouch!

Sorry to hear about the registration number. I've done that with other products and have contacted them and gotten another number, but Microsoft is the pits. I have never recieved a helpful reply from them so I've given up asking. Did you try the registration number from one of the other office suites?

I lost a registration number for one of my Windows 98 disks, so I just use the same number for both. It makes it look like I have the same copy on two machines, but I have the two disks I Microsquish ever cracked down. Jon Holmen
