Hi,

how to monitor pix open port

thanks

Create an ACL first using access-list

Then use the capture command to filter content on that port.

Check out CISCO.com on how to use capture.

in the mean time, you can show what ports are in use using the
show conn command

for example:

show conn protocol tcp | include 5190

...would show connections on your PIX using AIM

Hi,

thanks your reply, but some time ago, i saw a command to monitor port, (maybe it is "nmpt" command or other spelling, i cannot remeber well now).

joanna
