open popup window and pass hidden value through javascript

how to mix open popup window javascript and pass hidden value through javascript. I have to use hidden value instead of using link ( like newwindow.cfm?hidden=#value#), cause this value is very long. URL can't be too long.

I've never seen a querystring that got truncated, and I've passed thousands of bytes in a querystring. I wouldn't worry about it being too long.

maybe you passed the long value using IE, in netscape, it shows URL is too long. [sig][/sig]
