Open PDF File with Bookmark Tab Expanded Out

Is there a way that when you open a PDF in Adobe Reader, that the bookmark tabs displays despite a users setup.

For example: I made a PDF document. When I open the document in Adobe Reader, the bookmark tab is to the left but the bookmark does not show. I would like to force the bookmark tab to expand out and display on startup.

Hi there - this should just be a simple case of File/Document Properties/Initial View then ensure that Show has Bookmarks Panel & Page selected. You can change many things here for the document - but make sure you save the doc to retain these preferences.
