I am not a Paradox programmer, although have done some programming in the past. With another person, who is also not a Paradox programmer but has used paradox for the last 10 years, we can generally modify forms and scripts okay.

My question: I have another application (XX) with an ID field that contains the same ID that Paradox stores. If a user is in XX and is viewing a record, I want them to be able to open the Paradox form on that exact record via a link tool. I can get the record ID (or any other field value) from XX using Python or another language. My early test uses the DOS command line for opening the Paradox form. It opens the Paradox form just fine, but not on the record and I don't see a method for passing this on the command line. I am guessing I will need to write a Paradox script to receive the XX ID and then have the script call the form? Any suggestions or code on this topic will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
