By using:
<a href="outlook:inbox">outlook link to inbox </a>
syntax: <"outlook:folderName">
There is a slight change in syntax for public folders, which I do not recall offhand I believe it is
outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/samplefolder
It was very helpful to link to confernce rooms set up in Public Folder and display the room's availability.
Perhaps someone here will find it helpful as well.
