Open Office and Crystal??

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to use the Calc and Base modules of open office with Crystal Reports?
I was thinking I would be able to define a name in Calc on a spreadsheet and then grab that db with crystal but it always tells me that it is unrecognized format.

Any suggestions?

I have CR 8.5 (I know it's old. We have to keep it for MAS 200). But I would be interested to hear if it works with any version of CR.
