We are in the process of migrating from MetaFrame XP to Access Essentials. I am trying to get my users launching individual apps through the web interface instead of launching a full desktop.
When more than one Word document is opened, it will launch a new instance of Word and it will show up in the taskbar on the local machine. Same goes for Outlook items. But Excel and Power Point seem to want to open windows within one instance of the application, which keeps the windows inside of one window instead of displaying separate instances in the taskbar.
My citrix Engineer tells me that it is a Microsoft Office issue, but I am not finding a solution. Does anyone have any ideas?
