open mail relay on Exchange 5.0

Does anyone know how to stop an Exchange 5.0 server from being an open mail relay. We will be upgrading to Exchange 2000 later but need to get this fixed now.

Any help is appreciated

Go into Internet Mail Service and then go to the Routing Restrictions Button. There you must have: The Users must have Authentication Check box checked. Jimmy

The actual Check boxes name is: Hosts and clients that successfully authenticate must be checked to close open relay on exchange Jimmy
