Open List in a new window

I'm trying to setup a document link to open in a new window. So when a user clicks on this link it opens a new web browser.

Is there a way to set this so it only affects certain links and not the whole site?

Hello,

You might be able to do these modifications in FrontPage. A long time ago I did it with a Links webpart, that made the items in the list open up in a new browser window.

Just be careful when customizing things with FrontPage, always make sure you have a good backup before doing any modifications. Making modifications through Frontpage can actually do more damage than good. It will also cause some of you sharepoint content to be Un-ghosted which also can give you problems,
