open link in new window opens blank page 1

Can someone advise me on this?
i've gone to MS KB but seen nothing that seems to help

whnever i try to "open link in new window" a blank window comes up . the address bar is totally blank. as a result, i have to copy and paste web addresses manually so i can browse 2 windows at the same time.

anyone know any fixes for this?

Try this:

Start, Run and type in regsvr32 urlmon.dll. Ok.
Then go to: IE,Tools,Internet Options,Programs,Reset Web Settings. You may need to restart the computer.
