Open Link in New Window command not working properly

Hiya,

I'm having trouble with IE6. Lately my right click command of, open in new window, is not working properly. Instead of opening the link in a new window like it is supposed too. It just resizes the current window and then opens the link. SO what I have is just 1 window, instead of 2 like I wanted. I've tried virus scanning, and ad-ware/spy-ware scanning/removal. I have no idea what is going on.

Can anyone help?

Download and run this tool:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/msninvestor/patch/1.0/win98/en-us/mcrepair.exe

It re-registers a bunch of IE's dll's which should solve your problem. Restart your pc afterwards. Thanks to carr for the link to the tool.

Either copy and paste the block below into a .CMD session, copy and paste to a .bat or .cmd file, or Start, Run, and enter the commands one-by-one:
