Open files outside of browser

Hi,

If you click tools...folder options, select file types, choose an extension then click advanced you can untick a box called 'browse in same window' which will force a word document or excel spreadsheet to open in its own full application.

Does anyone know whereabouts in the registry this information is stored? I want to put a link to some vbscript on our intranet which will update the user's settings automatically.

Has the registry location for all office documents. Hope that helps.
