Open email attachments with MS Access

At present, my application requires that I open an Outlook Express email attachment and copy or save the data to a text file before I can import it into my program.

Does anyone know if this operation can be accomplished within Access?

Outlook Express doesn't support automation.
A workaround is to use the not so reliable way of AppActivate and SendKeys.
