HI all:

I did a search through this forum earlier and came across thread707-764402 about a click even for a hyperlink in Word.

I'm using OL 2010 and would like to open the e-mail and then open a hyperlink. Is it possible?

I only ask because the other post was 7 years old.

Thanks,

Ron Repp

AFAIK, the Outlook OM does not give you hyperlinks in e-mails directly (but you could get the <a> tag from the HTMLBody), or any way to follow them and even if it did, you would still have the problem of identifying which one you want - or even identifying the e-mail you want.

It is a rather dangerous thing to do automatically (and I wouldn't be surprised if Outlook blocked it), although it ought to be possible, in theory, to instantiate an IE object and navigate to any address.

Enjoy,
Tony
