Our company is using Windows XP Professional. I need to be able to make changes to the device manager without having to have the standard user Logoff and me logging on with my admin account to make the changes.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Have you tried the Runas command to run devmgmt.msc as Administrator?

if you are "allowed" to be making these changes then perhaps your IT chaps could just give you local admin rights or elevate your account to something that allows you to do what you need to perform your job.

I will try the Run As Command. Thank You.

Couldn't you just connect to their PC through Computer Management? Right click My Computer > Manage > right click Computer Management (Local) > connect to another computer... > choose PC > Device Manager.
