Anytime I boot my servers, it comes up in the command line....I forgot hor to make it come up in CDE window.

Also, I have a servers that just show up as a openwindows desktop bith blank screen...Is there a way to change this screen to be openwindows also.

You can enable CDE with this command -

/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e
 
Thank you dandan123, I did & rebooted the server, I'm still at the command line....It won't go to CDE

Make sure this entry is in your /etc/inetd.conf:

100083/1 stream rpc/tcp wait root /usr/dt/bin/rpc.ttdbserverd rpc.ttdbserverd

Verify inetd is actually ps -ef |grep inet

/etc/init.d/dtlogin start
