Hi,

I have a access database that opens with just a form. It doesnt show the database window. It doesn't show the Tools menu on the toolbar so I can't change the start up properties? So how can I gain access to the toolbar, or the database window if somebody knows another way than via Tools>Start Up?

Any help much appreciated.

Rob

Try Window and see if the Database window has been hidden

Use the shift key, then click file/open. That will open the entire database and not just the form. Sometimes I have to do it a couple of times, but in the end it usually works

I take it it's not your database :)

If the Shift Key bypass doesn't work then as long as the database has no password on it, you may be able to enable it (the Shift Key bypass that is) using SQL.
