Open approach db with bad linked tables

We have an approach database that has just died because the server has been renamed to dataserver. The apporach database looks for \\server\..... to look for another dbf to get info from, but obviously this now just crashes out because \\server no longer exists.

How can I open the database to change this link, as every time it says cannot find.... and exits.

You will need to reestablish the \\server\ address long enough to either 1) open the APR and save it to someone's C-drive or 2) not find the db's and let you substitute them from another location.

Approach must find and look into that old address long enough to either find the files or not find them and ask you for substitutes.
