Okay, this is kinda complicated: I'm have trouble opening an Access database located on a file server. I'm using WSS 3.0 and created an aspx page (with the Sharepoint Designer wizard) to open an display table contents from an Access database. When setting up the connection I can test the link to the DB and all works perfectly (I get the data from the DB). When opening the page in a browser on the Sharepoint server itself, all works okay but when opening that same page on my client I get "The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '\\server\share\db.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data". I then copied the database to a shared folder on the Sharepoint server instead of our file server and then the remote access works. I checked and re-checked file and share permissions, those are okay. I'm also sure user impersunation is working.

Any ideas?

Grtz,
Frederik
