Open a simple text file

Ugh, I want to simply open a text file (for now, over a mapped drive later)... and I got find the function listed anywhere... I can find all the interfaces to open access databases and word documents and such, but I just want a text file... someone point me in the right direction?

Use the FileSystemObject and you can opent the file as a TextStreamObject.

Look at the reference list to the left, should have all the objects you need.
