Open a PPT?

Can I use Flash to open a ppt file? I first was publishing my anim as swf and opening in the Internet Explorer and in the button action script I'm using the GetURL action and it worked, now I'm publishing it as an EXE file and the GetURL is not working. Is there any way I could open the PPT file??

i think if the .ppt file and the exe file are in the same folder it should still work..
