I'm trying to add link on an intranet page to allow users to access a file on the local server. I need to have it skip the "open or save" dialog box. I want to force the file to open and not allow the option to save.

Any ideas?

create a hyperlink by highlighting and right clicking on the item you want to be the link - then choose "hyperlink". The second box to the right of the URL box is "make a hyperlink to a file on your computer" Chhose this and browse to your file. When someone selects the link, it should open the file in their browser without the initial dialog box.
