opacity with NS4+

as far as i know, there is no "true" opacity in ns...there is visible, and invisible.
there is a cheat however...you may or may not like it though:
use a screened image as the layer background...
by "screened" i mean, make a 2X2 pixel image, alternating colored or transparent pixels.
