It's really a stupid question !! I have ONS set and I would like when i'm on the phone, the second call ring busy for the caller (internal or external caller)?? I have tried a blank field in "auto camp-on timer" of my COS of the set, and no succes !! On my set I hear always the camp-on and ring for the caller ... No conference and no calling swap option is actived on the same COS.

Oops sorry, you want the set to ring busy... was reading another site and came here, got the two confused.

System defaults are provided in the call rerouting forms. These defaults result in internal calls being rerouted to a busy or reorder tone, and incoming trunk calls being rerouted after the COS-controlled "No Answer - Recall Timer" expires, to the device that originally handled the call (usually an attendant).

Campon activation is based on the calling device, not the receiving device. Your post suggests you are modifying the receiving device. You need to blank the timer in the COS of the trunk.

From the Help Files said:
Program the Auto Camp-on Timer in the Class of Service Options Assignment form for the device that will initiate Camp-on.

KWB, ok I try this and I understand... but I have a PRI, so if I change the Trunk COS, I will change for all the ONS set ... I will try to route the DID to a hunt group and reroute always to the ONS set (assuming I blank the Camp-on timer in the hunt group COS)

Nice try but using a hunt group as you suggest won't work. The calling device is still the trunk regardless of how many devices it terminates to previously.

If you want to provide busy signals on 1 ONS device (Such as a FAX) but want to allow Camp-on to others (Why exactly? you've never said) and they all have a single, common point of origin (PRI) then your options are very limited.

There may be a way to route the call using intercept handing to busy signal, but I'm not sure.

Intercept Handling

Description
Intercept Handling lets the system control what happens to a call when the call cannot be completed to the required destination. A call may be routed to a tone or to a directory number. Two alternate destinations may be programmed for each condition.

Conditions
Intercept Handling can manage the following situations:
- directory number out of service
- directory number not reachable (as may occur when the caller and destination not part of the same Portable Directory Number (PDN) cluster)
- unassigned directory number
- COS violation
- toll denial ARS digits
- toll denial route digits
- interconnect restriction
- holding party locked out
- attendant in night service 1
- attendant in night service 2.
The destination cannot be a feature access code or an ARS digit string.

Programming
Complete the Intercept Handling Assignment form.

Enter an Intercept Number for each station and trunk in the Station Service Assignment and Trunk Service Assignment forms.

Note: A default of 1 is automatically assigned; in instance 1 of the form, all intercepts go to the reorder tone by default.
