Hello All,

I have two linux servers and two win boxes each assigned with there own static ip address (4) total. Linux server one is set up as dns/web server. Linux server two slave/mail/ftp

I am able to access web pages from my two win boxes
(which are not networked with the linux boxes), but nobody else from outside seems to be able to get my pages to load.

It almost seems that only pc's on the same ip block can access the sites..anyone had this problem?

Ok...
From what I am gathering here, you have 4 boxes, all on the same network that can see eachother fine, and can view webpages on eachother fine as well... but remote machines (on other networks) cannot.

Can the remote machines PING the apache server?

If not your network is the problem (routes, subnet masks, etc)

Also, are these boxes on a public network, private network, etc.

hello,
The two server machines are on a public network each with there own ip. The two windows machines set behind a router which holds it's own public ip and assigns private ip addresses to them. To sum it up connections are:
dsl modem > 4port hub > two lines straight to linux boxes and one to the router > two lines from router to win boxes.

Hope this makes sense ....
