Only see partial file/folder list on server share?

Not sure where to post this...

For some reason, my network share (located on Server 2003 R2) becomes only partially accessible. I reboot, then all is fine for a while. (I'm running XP Pro)

Today...it's more often...driving me crazy.

I run 'dir' of that share from cmd prompt...same thing.
Files are always available from another machine or from server direct.

Any idea on why this happens, and how to resolve it?

Sounds like a virus on your XP machine, as other machines can see the folder.

I run McAfee...but will do a full scan. I also have scanned with Malwarebytes...I'll let you know what I find.
