How can we make sure only person is entering data at a given time,
we tried setting up passwords but as long as other users has it they aslo can get in.

Help please.

Akar33,
The easiest way to do this is to have the database open in exclusive mode. That way only one user can open the database at a time. To set your database to open in exclusive mode by default go to the Tools pull down and select Options. Pick the Advanced tab from the Options dialog box and chnage the default open mode from shared to exclusive.

That should do it.

the more common appraoches do not limit use (evev data entry) to single user.
