Hi there Guys. We have 2 system phones for our small warehouse. The main one works, and rings, this is in room 1, The second one is in room 2 and this only flashes up on the screen. Is it possible to change this so that both system phones will ring.
Also Is it possible to allow outgoing phone calls from the other phones on the system, as it seems only system phones can make external calls.

Thanks In advance

Is the phone in room 2 programmed as an SCR key and not and SCN?

Thanks,

Buddy

Im not sure, I just plugged it in, How would I tell?

I cant print it out.
I can loginto the nexer sytem via the ip interface.
Is there anywhere that would tell me?

Apparently, you have zero experience with this system. You might want to call your local vendor and have him spend some time with you giving you some basic pointers on what you have. It will be worth the time and money to get some help.

Neither phone is ringing now.. I do not have alot of experience with these systems, granted, however I am a very experienced computer technician. Unfortunately i am unable to pay for any help, hence the emails. Would you not know where I would look when i access the nexer control panel via ftp?

You'll need access to a terminal that connects directly to a TTY port on the PBX. You'll need "login" access with user name and password to Load programs to print and make changes. But first, you'll need to download Nortel PBX documents for your system and start reading. It's where most of us started! Good luck. I just advised another user of the same. Of course, he's shotgunning the system right now.

I think you guys should back up and find out what system is being used here anyway!

It sounds more like a norstar than a pbx.
