but when comcing to write a new e-mail or reply to send on my address.... the e-mails never comes and i recieve a report on the gmail or yahoo or hotmail that:
Destination domain does not exist.
what do i need to check in the event viewer? in which section ? thanks
When did it stop working and what has changed?
How is your SMTP connector set up?
In event viewer I would check all sections as you would do each day and look for errors.
If the errors are on outbound emails (I couldn't tell) then I would suspect a DNS issue. If it is inbound I would suggest your ISP needs to look at the MX record.
it happend one day nothing has changed no setting etc...
i used to work perefectly... there is a dns error, which was being given before too on the event viewer, since i did not set up the network here i don't know what actual settings has been made.
the error says:
DNS ENCOUTERED A PACKET addresses to itself on IP 192.168.0.1
Can you browse the Internet from that server? If so, check the SMTP connector in Exchange and look at the DNS settings. If not, look at the NIC/DNS settings.
Looks from the check on mxrecords.com that you don't have an MX record for leekang.cn so your ISP needs to set one up to point at your public IP which you then need to route inwards using your firewall to hit your Exchange server.
Not really. The domain was registered on 2nd November last year and expires 2nd November next year. Ping tells you if the server at the end is receiving, registration is about ownership.
Suggest you speak to your ISP about this problem and see if they can help.
