We have a machine in our office that we occasionally use for the generation of Crystal Reports (using CR 8.5).
What we've seen is that when we create a new report (be it against any database, including SQL Server and the xtreme database as supplied by Seagate) we only get half the report previewed per page.
What I mean is that suppose the report generated consists of two pages of simple data (we've only put a stock code on for instance) then the first half of the first page is OK display wise but then the line exactly half way down the page is only half shown (in the vertical manner - get the top half of the characters only) and then no entries below it. The second page appears to be OK mainly because it doesn't get as far as half way down the page height.
I've made the assumption we're looking at a re-install here but I'm curious to know if there's any other way of solving this - or if it'll still be an issue following re-install.
Has anyone come across this (bizarre) oddity ?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Steve
