Only getting 60-80gig on LTO with Arc9

For stand alone drives, AS allows the user to disable / enable the compression on the device (right click on it). Make sure the compression is not off.
You can also turn on the tape engine debug, you will see a SCSI command called Mode Select that sets the compression. See if you get any Illegal Requests in the tape log either during initialization (right after starting the tape engine) or when playing with the compression.
