Only first 255 characters of Memo field show in Qry & Rpt

Hi.
I have a memo field that is only displaying the first 255 characters in both the query & the report. I have already turned on the "can grow/can shrink" properties of the report control.

I have seen other threads that mention this. They say the memo field is "formatted". Is there a way to change that? Are there any work-arounds?
I can display the same field fine on other reports, the only difference in the underlying queries is that I added a bunch of extra fields from a different table into the query that truncates the field.

I have checked the "format" of both the report control and the field in the table. It is blank, so it should show all data as entered, I believe.
I'm at a loss!

Did you check the format of the column in the query editor? You can format data there as well.
