Unable to make calls from CS1K extensions to IP Office Extensions if the NCOS of CS1K extensions is not 7. If NCOS 7 then CS1K extns are able to make calls to IPO extns. QSIG is set-up between CS1K and IPO. All other calls are working fine. I copied LD 49 CRNO 7 values over to CRNO 6, I assigned NCOS 6 to an extension, still the CS1k to IPO calls fail. However If i change the NCOS to 7 then the same extension works fine. Looks as if somewhere the NCOS 7 is mapped to that QSIG trunk. I may be wrong.. Please share your thoughts.Thank you

There isn't anything wrong. Change the NCOS on the trunks to a value the same or lower than the ext's NCOS that you want to make the call.

How do you dial the extensions? Do you dial an access code first or simply the extension number? If it's the latter then you are likely using CDP so the call s are controlled by a Route List Block.
Print a DNB on the CS1K for one of the IP Office extensions to see what it gives you,

Apologize for the late reply. This is my first post with a response and I did not get any notification. I know how to check for any response now.

Yes KCFLHRC , I have changed the FRL in RLI to the lowest (0) as it is only a internal trunk. Calls are working fine now. Thank you for the fix.
Appreciate your assistance.

Yes StanleySteamer, I dial the extensions as it is and a CDP entry is added for all extensions added in IPO.

Now there is a new issue. Name is not getting displayed when a call is made between CS1K to IPO and vice versa. Can you please share your suggestions.

Thank you

From what I recall, you need to change the DCH 12 RCAP setting to ND3

Details from 2 previous problem reportS are listed below that might help you.

CS1000E rls 4.5 with a QSIG link from the MG1000T to a third-party switch
Users on the third-party switch dialling a set on the CS1000E did not see the Called Party name displayed on ringing, only after call answer.

Changed RCAP on the VDCH to ND3 on both the CS1000E and the MG1000T to resolve.

ND3 ensures the same level of service between the MCDN Name Display and QSIG Name Display supplementary services.

You might also need to add in the message waiting feature (QMWI)

Problem Resolution

Fix:
Nortel's Meridian switches with CallPilot support the MWI feature. The following pre-requisites are required for the MWI to work with the Cisco over QSIG:

For the Meridian 1 PBX to support the QSIG MWI feature, the PBX must at least have an Enterprise software level (to get ISDN Tie lines) with X11 Release 25.40 or 25.40B software (to get QSIG MWI).
In addition to NMS software and Phantom TN Features, the following packages must be installed on the PBX:
- PKG 305 (QSIG Generic Function)
- PKG 316 (QSIG Supplementary Services)
- PKG 263 (Qsig Basic Call/Name Display)
- PKG 175 (Network Message Service)

The configuration of the Dchannel of the QSIG should look something like as below:

If you don't have RCAP = ND3, then try ND2.

Thanks for the reply ( FirebirdScrambler). I do not get the option ND2 or ND3 as the interface I selected was ESIG and not ISGF as you have mentioned. In ESIG interface I only get the option (NDi). I could not get the trunk up with ESGF hence opted for ESIG. Is there any option to be tried in ESIG , before I can think of changing the interface to ISGF as the site is already in production.
