Only display the first occurrence

Although my selection criteria may return several identical records, I only want to display the first record in "details" and then move on to the next group.

How do I do this ??

If your complete records are duplicated (sure your links are cool?) you can create a grouping based on your detail section - or use your existing group, and place your detail information in the group header or footer. This will return the first or last occurence of the detail in the database.
