Hallo.
I have an open dialog that I only want to see folders & *.zip files in.
I have set DefaultExt to "*.zip", Filter to "*.zip", FilterIndex to 1 (also 0, made no difference), but cannot get the dialog only to list folders & *.zip files - all other files are listed, regardless of their extension.
Does anyone know how to achieve this?
Cheers,
Douglas JL

It should work unless you have done something wrong in setting up your filter.

Look at your filter, there should be 2 entries for a filter, the first column is the filter name, something like "zip Files (*.zip)" which is the description seen in the open dialog, and the actual Filter (the 2nd column) which should be "*.zip".

Also, the DefaultExt is not necessary and "*.zip" is incorrect there anyway. This simply specifies a extension to add to the selected file if it doesn't have a registered extension. you probably want to leave this blank.

Good luck.

Ah!
That explains a few things!
Cheers, man!
