Only certain people can view my site?

Im using windows xp, apache 2.039 and only certain people can view my site. I think it is also this xp problem that only people w/ xp can view it i need to know what is going on here. this is a very urgent problem. pleae help ASAP.

Can you provide a little more information. Can the users that cannot connect to you do and nslookup on your domain name? Can they ping the ip address of you server. Are you running virtual host.

Are you running it on XP Home or Professional?

I am running windows xp home edition, and i downloaded apache 2.039.exe not the .msi

Do you have access to pro. The apache link I provided previously states that it is not tested on the win 9x line of products which I think the home edition is based on.

Do you have to run Apache 2.039? If not try downloading 1.3.26 and see how that runs.

It mya have been offline at the time, tryt it now, it is online now.

I think this problem has nothing to do with XP. I can't tell because I can't access it no matter what I do. Can you give us more info on your type of connection and how you have httpd.conf setup? You said some people can access your site while others can't. Can they still get on to your site. Do you have a static ip? Are you behind a firewall from either your isp or local network? Is port 80 blocked for any reason? Is your domain being forwarded?
