Many of our users run multiple sessions across our farm. Via load balancing, this could mean that the user has 2 sessions on 1 server of the same published application.
Within our NT4/1.8 farm this works fine. In our new test lab, with 2003/XPe FR3 SP3, it does not. And the problem is very strange.
When "UserX" opens a published app "App1" from his PC (whether application or desktop), then goes back to the ICA Client and opens another copy of the "App1" (2 connections set up in Custom ICA Connections), the second session disconnects the first, and re-connects itself to that session.
If the published app is running across multiple servers, then you can have a session on each server, and you can run 2 different apps on one server, but not 1 app twice.
Does that make sense? Anyone seen anything like this?
Cheers,
Sam
