Only 1 CO line in Kx-TDA50, need direct outside line pick-up

Hi Guys.
I searched but didn't find exactly what I needed. I have a KX-TDA50 that formally had 3 active CO lines but now there is only 1.
Customer would like to be able to just pick up an extension and get that outside CO line and dial out. Can this be done easily, is something I can explain to the customer how to do?

One way, Turn off line access to the 2 inactive co lines and set up the extensions to hot dial the outside line access

As stated you will need to take the inactive lines out of service.

Once done the code I think is 742 9 # to set hot line 741 to turn on, 1 second delay in picking line but can be set at 0 in timers.
