Hi, anybody here has an idea how to know the online users or users who are logged to the domain.. [ponder]

Any inputs are greatly appreciated..

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Please be more specific. Online users of what? Web site, OWA, FTP?

The computer management snap-in will show you who is logged onto the domain at a given time, you will need to look at each DC for a complete list.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

Hi markdmac, I mean how can I get the user's account domain log IN / OUT time?

Thank you in advance markdmac [ponder]

If you enable security logging you can find out when your users are logging in. I don't believe it captures logout times.

Another solution (and more robust) would be to use a login script and logoff script that would write to a database somewhere on your network.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
