Online travel Website, should this be done with XML

Hi,

I am not really a computer guy, but I am starting my own online travel agency. I need to develop a database that will talk to the reservation system. Should I learm xml or any other software package?

You would only need to learn XML if the reservation system people used it to communicate with the outside world (i.e. travel agencies). You would need to contact their technical people to see what technology you need to use to interface to their system.
