I am interested in llearning how to develop a web application in frontpage that allows users to take a quiz/test online and view their scores. The data would then be sent to an access database.

I have FP experience as a "hobbiest". My domain allows unlimited access connectoins and I have already made some pages that lookup database info. I am familar with VB Script from my experience with VB5.0 .

I am more interested in sources to learn how to do this as opposed to copying existing work or samples. Howoever any samples are welcome.

I was referred to a site that had a "Test generator" but the generated code is in Javascript".

Any help is appreciated

I recall an old FrontPage addin that was free, FrontPage Quizzing Engine. I vaguely recall some possible problems with the addin as well though.

Do a search on Google for "FrontPage quizzing engine" many results return and I am sure that you could find a download for it. I would also suggest looking at several of the results for posts on line about any possible problems people may have encountered with the add-in as well.

Other than this, I would suggest that you look on the interent for free scripts that you could use for your quiz/testing needs. There are many CGI/PERL scripts out there for this, if your host server supports PERL. If not, find out what scripting languages they support, like PHP or ASP and look for scripts that will handle the quizzes for you.

Thanks for the innformation. From what I've found out about the quiz engine, it was fpor intranet use and had many problems with remotely hosted webs. I found some additional VB script help files for Frontpage.

I also found a test generator in Javascript which I used to make a test at but its all client side code except for the submit button. I think with this I can get started.

Any tips are appreciated
