online degrees 2

I would like to hear your comments and suggestions in this regard,

I got a Diploma in computer system designing and Bachelors in accounting. I have been working in IT industry more than 7 years specialized in ERP products and currently I am working for Retail Company as a system analyst (50% programming, 50% functional)

I want to start my masters ASAP. But my question is whether to go for MBA major IS or MSc in IS. How is the recognition for online degrees?? I see some flexibility in online degrees, but not sure whether it’s a correct decision.

P.S. I am currently living in Canada. (Would like to know USA online courses)
